Day 1 Depart Nairobi – Masai Mara
Our Driver-Guide reports to your hotel for Start of the safari, with an 07.30am departure for a scenic drive down into the Great Rift Valley, onwards to Masai Mara, Kenya’s premier game reserve. ( Drive time 5.5 hours). You will be in your own private safari vehicle. Stop briefly enroute at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the stunning views of what is the world’s largest Valley, said to be even visible from space. Arrive at Masai Mara for lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge. The afternoon game drive at 3.30pm allows spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park ranging from the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah to Rhino, Elephant and Wildebeest. Day 2 Enjoy Two Full day in Masai Mara.
You will be taken on two game drives today, one in the morning from 6.15am to 9am, before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. As your safari is private your game drive timings are flexible, useful if you are travelling with children, or are on a honeymoon. You may also choose to have a full day game drive [ one for the whole day] with a packed picnic lunch at no extra cost. Day 3 : Masai Mara – Naivasha
Earky morning breakfast followed by last game drive at Masai Mara later exit park to Lake Naivasha, with lunch enroute at Narok. We arrive Naivasha Sopa Lodge late afternoon, a short break and Optional boat ride is available at Lake Naivasha to view Hippos as well as sport fishing at an extra cost pay directly or enjoy relaxing at the lodge or enjoy swimming.

Day 4 – Naivasha – Kiambethu Tea Farm
Breakfast in the lodge leisurely bid bye to the lake and drive to Kiambethu Tea Farm, arriving at 1030am. Kiambethu is a farmhouse to four generations of the first family to plant and make tea in Kenya.
The tour starts at 1100hrs, they will welcome you with some homemade biscuits (yum!) and of course tea, before regaling tales of the farm and the tea making process. The gardens around the home are lovely and well worth a stroll, especially to catch glimpses of the resident colobus monkeys! Also included in the tour is a walk through the indigenous forest that is still preserved (most was cleared for the tea farms).
Accompanied by the resident Kenyan guide guests are given an insight into the tea making process followed by an opportunity to see tea in the field.
Guests can also take a short walk into the small indigenous forest and learn about the plants and how they were used traditionally, watch the Colobus monkeys and birds that are resident in the gardens or just enjoy the sweeping views across the tea.
There after enjoy Kiambethu’s lunch is a great meal with homemade butter, rolls, and soup. Then salad, maize (white corn) and cheese, potatoes, green beans, carrots, Swiss steak, followed by fruit and homemade ice cream. The veggie options served is fantastic and drinks are always available in plenty!
Drive to Nairobi later in the afternoon where you arrive at around 15:00pm. On arrival you will be dropped back at your city hotel/ JKIA Airport.
