10Days Mt. Kenya Treking & Safari
Day 1: Nairobi/Sirimon/Judmaier Camp (Old Moses Camp) 3-4 hrs, 9km, 860m ascent
Leave Nairobi at 8am to Nanyuki town for lunch; this should take about 4 hours. Proceed to Sirimon Gate for 1 hr, 2440m. From the gate follow the track as it winds uphill though the forest which becomes heath land after about 3 hrs. About 3 hours from the gate, the track veers right to Judmaier Camp, 3300m for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Judmaier Camp/Shipton Camp 6-7hrs, 14km, 900m ascent
After breakfast, follow the track uphill, forking left at the junction. After one hour from Old Moses Camp, the track crosses Ontulili River. Go right contouring through the Moorland crossing Liki North and continue uphill to Mackinders Valley from where there are panoramic views up the valley towards the main peaks. Dinner and overnight is at Shipton Camp, 4200m.

Day 3: Shipton Camp/Point Lenana/Judmaier Camp (Old Moses Camp) 9-10hrs, 21km
Leave at 3am up a steep stony quarry that cuts through a cliff clearing visible part towards lower Hall Tarns. You will be arriving at point Lenana at 6:30am, taking about 3hrs. After the sunrise, descend down to Shipton Camp for breakfast and further 4hrs down to Old Moses Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Mt Kenya to Nairobi Overnight Kenya Comfort Hotel B/B
After breakfast, walk down through the rain forest for 2 hours to connect with your transport vehicle back to Nairobi. Overnight will be at Kenya Comfort Hotel. Kenya Comfort Hotel is centrally located in the city near shopping mall, banks, and restaurants.

Day 5. Nairobi/Masai Mara
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley–here we have a stopover at Great rift valley for a scene viewing, after which we proceed to Maasai town known as Narok arriving in time for lunch. After lunch we proceed for 1hrs drive heading to Masai mara reserve for our afternoon game drive till late in the evening. Dinner and overnight at our Semi permanent camp site Masai Mara Camp at Masai Mara . Approx transit time: 5½ hrs. Meal plan: {Lunch, Dinner}
Day 6. Masai Mara Full Day.
Spend the day in Masai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant..Our Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch to spend entire day in the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. You will also have the option of visiting a local Maasai village which is catered for in our costs, here you will learn more on the Masai culture and their lifestyle. Its is a very interesting tribe in Kenya. All meals and overnight at the Masai Mara Camp – Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

Day 7. Maasai Mara/Nakuru
Last day at Masai Mara. We will start at dawn to catch the sunrise and early hunters and grazers.Come back to our camp for breakfast and later drive to Lake Nakuru National park with a stop over for lunch at Narok Town, a stop over at Lake Naivasha for Boat ride which is not catered in our costs $20 pay directly and if you wish to visit the cresent Island Pay extra fee $30 per person. Later we drive to Nakuru arriving late evening, We head to your hotel for refreshment, dinner and overnight at the City Maxi Hotel in Nakuru. Meal plan: {Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner}.Approx transit time: 5½ hrs
Day 8: Nakuru / Amboseli.
Today we start with an early breakfast. It’s an ornithologists and game watchers day. Hundreds of thousands of flamingos canopy the shallow edges of the lake. Pelicans and hundreds of other bird species will be seen. The adjacent park hosts both the black and white rhino, lions, warthogs, antelopes, baboons and many other animals. Later leave lake nakuru for Nairobi for lunch then to Amboseli national park for dinner and overnight at tented Camp – Kimana Budget tented Camp. Meal plan: {Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner} Approx transit time: 6 hrs
Day 9: Amboseli Full Day.
A day of game drives in this park, which dust devils swirl around the edges, but in the heart of the park is an amazing swamp which elephants and hippos are in abundance. A visit to the observation hill will follow where you will look out for the glistering majestic snowcap of Mt Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is justly famous both for its big game – elephants, which are the most studied in the world. Living beside the most celebrated culture in the world- the masai. lions and cheetahs. you will have lunch in the bush as you enjoy the view of the Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the Amboseli Kimana Camp. Meal plan: {Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner}
Day 10: Amboseli / Nairobi.
After breakfast, proceed for your final game drive in the park and later exit driving back to Nairobi arriving in afternoon with a drop off at Wilson Airport for your connecting flight.
