3 Day Budget Masai Mara Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara
Morning:Start your day with a pick up from your Nairobi hotel around 7:30 am. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, stopping at a viewpoint for breathtaking panoramas of this vast geological wonder. Lunch: Arrive at your Masai Mara camp in time for lunch and a chance to relax and freshen up before your first game drive.
Afternoon: Embark on an afternoon game drive in the reserve. The Masai Mara is home to an abundance of wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, and cheetahs. Your experienced guide will take you to the best spots for spotting animals and share their knowledge of the Mara ecosystem.
Day 2: Full Day Game Drives in Masai Mara Full Day
Enjoy a full breakfast back at camp and go for your full day game drive. Witness the savannah come alive as predators hunt and prey graze in the cool morning light. Picnic lucng will be enjoyed in the park and head out on another exciting game drive. The Masai Mara is vast, and each drive offers a unique opportunity to see different animals and landscapes. With a bit of luck, you may even witness the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebra thunder across the plains in search of fresh pastures (depending on the time of year you visit). In evening return to the camp for Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Cultural Immersion and Departure
Morning: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your Camp, reminiscing about your incredible encounters with the Masai Mara’s wildlife. Visit a Masai Village Extra Costs $ 10 and Optional : Immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Masai people by visiting a traditional village. Learn about their customs, traditions, and way of life, witness their intricate beadwork and warrior dances, and perhaps even purchase a handcrafted souvenir to support their community.
Lunch on the way and arrive in Nairobi in late afternoon and be transferred to your Hotel or Airport carrying with you the unforgettable memories of your African adventure.
