Lake Bogoria in Kenya’s Rift Valley is famed for its geysers, and its huge population of flamingos, which come to feed on algae and drink fresh water from lakeside spouts.

The lake itself is highly alkaline and twice as salty as seawater; it can’t support fish.

Description

This package includes game drives in the world-famous Masai Mara, home to the splendid great wildebeest migration, zebra and other grazers. Discover the Magic Lake Bogoria  Park,The lake is alkaline, feeding blue-green algae which in turn feed flamingoes and ore species of bird have been recorded.

Day 1:  Nairobi-Masai Mara

Pick up from your hotel at 0730hrs and drive through The Great African Rift Valley to arrive in time for lunch at Narok Town, continue to Masai Mara, arrive in the afternoon and get settled at your safari camp. An evening game drive will follow to explore the outstanding sanctuary famous for its big numbers of wildebeests, lions, elephants, buffaloes and other animals of the same order. Set in the Oloolaimutia valley the camp blends in perfectly with its surrounding hillside landscape. The accent here is on the Masai people and the fabulous wealth of wildlife, birdlife, and natural flora to be found in the fabled Masai Mara Game Reserve. Drive back to the camp for Dinner and overnight at Fisi Camp Masai Mara.

Day 2. Masai Mara 2 Full day Game Drive (Hot Air Balloon)

Set off early for a morning game drive to witness the animal kingdom at its most active hour, on your way to the famous Mara River where thousands of wildebeest and Zebras cross from Serengeti to Masai mara each year. Search for the park’s large populations of wildebeest, rhinoceros, buffaloes, lions, leopards, elephants, hippos, cheetahs, zebras, impalas, gazelles, hartebeests, warthogs, ostriches, topis and Masai giraffe. Enjoy packed lunch inside the park surrounded by beautiful sceneries and wildlife. Spend the whole afternoon searching and enjoying the wildlife in this wonderful park. In the evening visit a local Maasai village at USD 20 per person Optional, this is to sweeten your wildlife safari with a cultural Masai Village visit to interact with the local Masai people, dance with them as well learn how they leave.

Day 3. Masai Mara - Nakuru -Overnight

Another early morning game drive in Mara, then depart after breakfast and drive back to Nakuru for an overnight stay, there will be a stop on the way at lake Naivasha for those who would wish to enjoy a boat ride an extra costs pay directly, then proceed with you

journey to arrive Nakuru in the evening. Check in to your hotel Waterbuck for overnight.

Day 4. Lake Bogoria - Nairobi

Early morning breakfast and set of for lake Bogoria trip, Lake Bogoria in Kenya’s Rift Valley is famed for its geysers, and its huge population of flamingos, which come to feed on algae and drink fresh water from lakeside spouts.

The lake itself is highly alkaline and twice as salty as seawater; it can’t support fish. Enjoy the hot springs and your lunch while here later be driven back to Nairobi arriving in the evening. Drop of to your hotel or JKIA Airport.
