NAIROBI – SAMBURU: 320Km: Appr. 5-6 hrs

07:30 hrs. – Your driver guide and our office representative will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or Nairobi airport. After introduction and a briefing of the tour a head you will be driven to Kenya’s central highlands enjoying views of small, local coffee, tea, sisal and pineapple farms. Along your way you have a chance to sport Mt. Kenya, the pride of our country and its tallest peak. Arrive at the reserve in the afternoon. Hot lunch is served and later you can relax in your rooms or enjoy a swim as you await for the hot sun to settle for you’re your evening game viewing. Later in the evening set off for our game viewing which introduces you to the natural feel of the samburu reserve. The reserve is reach in wildlife with fame for abundance in rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx. Also large predators such as the Lion, Leopard and Cheetah are an important attraction, in terms of birdlife there is over 450 species recorded.

Day 2 : SAMBURU

Another day comes in and enjoy hot coffee or Tea then set off for your game-watching to look for lion, leopard, cheetah, and whoever else might show up in the dawning light. Not forgetting the path of the Ewaso Ngiro River you will be able to spot for elephant, buffalo, and some of the more entertaining wildlife like dik-dik, warthog and the olive baboon. Later be back for breakfast in the lodge leisurely. Time allowing we shall visit the Masai Village for the interaction with the locals. the Samburu people, closely related to the Maasai, an indigenous, pastoral group, who have inhabited this region.
Lunch follows and you relax in your lodge while you can swim and in the evening set off for the evening game hunting as you enjoy a sundowner with the sunset in the wild. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.

Day 3: SAMBURU – SWEETWATERS.

Breakfast in the Lodge, with game en route drive to sweetwaters sanctuary arriving in good time for lunch, set in to your rooms and enjoy hot lunch later explore the sanctuary where by you come to contact with the chimpazees feeding, exploring, climbing trees and socializing this offers a fascinating experience into your visit. Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters the Stables Guest house.

NAIROBI

We enjoy our last breakfast in the lodge/camp and later leave with game enroute to Nairoibi. We should arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon and will drop you off at your hotel, residence or should you wish at the airport. Your African Memories will last forever.
